Overview

Custom Dashboards in Go High Level is a configurable analytics space in each sub-account where you can track KPIs from contacts, appointments, opportunities, calls, revenue, and more. You control the layout, the widgets you add, the metrics they use, and even the dashboard's look and automated report delivery.

Key capabilities include:

  • Multiple Dashboards — Create dedicated dashboards for Sales, Marketing, Finance, or any other team. You can even set one as the default
  • Custom Widgets & Metrics — Add, edit, and update metrics with unlimited flexibility to surface the insights that matter most
  • Scheduled Reports — Schedule reports at any frequency and deliver them automatically to your team
  • Full Customization — Personalize your dashboards with themes, colors, and backgrounds to match your brand

Dashboard Widgets

Dashboard widgets are versatile and customizable tools that simplify data visualization and analysis. They provide quick access to key metrics, enabling efficient monitoring and enhanced reporting.

Widget categories organize predefined widgets into specific groups, helping you quickly discover the tools you need:

  • Visitor Data — Get an overview of your funnel visitors activity and relevant information
  • Emails — View email campaign activities
  • Calls — Detailed insights about your call activities
  • Conversations — Track conversation data
  • General — Predefined data and performance reports for various platforms

Adding Widgets

Adding widgets to your dashboard is straightforward:

  1. Access Your Dashboard

    Log into your account and select the Dashboard tab from the menu. This brings you to the default dashboard for your sub-account.

  2. Enter Edit Mode

    Click the Edit button (pencil icon) and then click "+ Add Widget" from edit mode.

  3. Choose Chart Type & Category

    Select the type of widget by browsing the categories or using the search bar. Choose from Numeric, Donut Chart, Line Chart, Bar Chart, Horizontal Bar Chart, and Table chart.

  4. Configure Your Widget

    Update the Title, select Metrics, define grouping options, choose View By dimensions, and set Date Properties as needed.

  5. Save Your Dashboard

    Click Save within the widget panel, then click "✓ Save Changes" to finish. This saves your layout and exits edit mode.

Quick Start

Use the "What is your goal?" or "Top used widgets" quick start options to select popular widgets and get started quickly. Click "Confirm & Add" to instantly insert commonly-used widgets.

Chart Types

  • Numeric/Count — Display numbers in a clear, focused format
  • Donut Charts — Show proportional data with a numeric value inside
  • Line Charts — Track changes over time with connected data points
  • Bar Charts — Compare numerical values using bar lengths
  • Horizontal Bar Charts — Display comparisons between categories
  • Tables — Provide organized information and precise details

  • Contacts by Tags — See how contacts are distributed by tags like "Hot Leads" or "New Prospects"
  • Contacts by Activity — Monitor contacts with specific activities within a defined time period

  • Google Analytics — Track views and interactions on your website
  • Facebook/Google Ads Report — Monitor clicks, spending, CTR, and CPC

Customization Options

Themes

Themes give you the ability to customize the appearance of your entire dashboard or individual widgets. Select from predefined themes or create your own custom theme with specific colors to match your brand.

Widget Configuration

Each widget can be configured with these options:

  • Title — Rename the widget to make its purpose clear
  • Metrics — Update the data points displayed (multiple metrics can be added for Line, Bar, and Horizontal bar charts)
  • Group — Define grouping options for charts like Donut charts
  • View By — Select the secondary dimension for visualizations
  • Breakdown — Adjust the time period frequency
  • Date Property — Choose the date type (Created Date, Updated Date) for fetching results

Layout Management

Once your widgets are added, you can resize and reposition them to suit your needs. Drag and drop widgets into place and adjust their size for better visibility.
